SCOPE
This privacy policy applies only to the specified website and not to any other external websites that may be accessible through links present on the site’s pages, which connect to different domains and for which the Data Controller is not responsible.

PLACE OF DATA PROCESSING
The processing of data related to the web services of this site (physically hosted on servers connected to the network) is carried out at the Data Controller’s headquarters and is handled only by employees, collaborators, or persons in charge of processing, or by occasional maintenance personnel. No data from website navigation is communicated or disseminated to third parties whose activities are not related to the management, operation, or control of the website itself. Personal data provided by users who request informational material is used solely to provide the requested service or performance and is communicated to third parties only when necessary for this purpose, except as provided in the “optional data provision” section.

TYPES OF DATA PROCESSED
Browsing Data
The computer systems and software procedures used to operate the site acquire, during their normal operation, some personal data whose transmission is implicit in the use of Internet communication protocols. These data are not collected to be associated with identified individuals, but due to their nature, they could, through processing and association with data held by third parties, allow users to be identified. This category of data includes, for example, IP addresses or domain names of the computers used by users connecting to the site, URI (Uniform Resource Identifier) addresses of requested resources, request time, method used to submit the request to the server, file size obtained in response, numerical code indicating the response status given by the server (successful, error, etc.), and other parameters related to the user’s operating system and IT environment. These data are used solely to obtain anonymous statistical information on the use of the site and to check its correct functioning. The Data Controller may disclose this data to ascertain responsibility in the case of hypothetical computer crimes or other requests authorized by judicial authorities.

Data voluntarily provided by users
The optional, explicit, and voluntary sending of email messages to the addresses indicated on the site or the filling out of request forms or other guided procedures present on the site, including downloading documents from the site, entails the subsequent acquisition of the sender’s email address, necessary to respond to requests, as well as any other personal data entered. Specific summary information will be displayed or provided on the site’s pages designated for particular on-demand services.

OPTIONAL DATA PROVISION
Apart from what is specified for browsing data, the user is free to provide personal data indicated in request forms or otherwise specified in contacts to request informational material or other communications. Failure to provide such data may make it impossible to obtain what is requested. It should be noted that, in some cases (not related to the ordinary management of this site), authorities may request information under Article 157 of Legislative Decree No. 196/2003 to check data processing. In such cases, responding is mandatory under penalty of administrative sanction.

COOKIES

What is a cookie?

Cookies are small text files that are downloaded to the User’s device when visiting a website. On each subsequent visit, the cookies are sent back to the website that originated them (first-party cookies) or to another site that recognizes them (third-party cookies). Cookies are useful because they allow a website to recognize the User’s device. They have various purposes, such as allowing efficient navigation between pages, remembering favorite sites, and generally improving the browsing experience. Depending on their function and purpose, cookies can be divided into technical cookies, profiling cookies, and third-party cookies.

Technical Cookies

Technical cookies are intended to enable functions without which it would not be possible to make full use of the Site. These cookies allow the operation of multi-step procedures (multiple successive pages, such as a contact request), to keep track of the user’s choices regarding the content of the Site to be displayed and the functions to be activated or deactivated. A cookie of this type is also used to store the user’s decision on the use of cookies on our website. Essential cookies cannot be disabled using the Site’s functions. Technical cookies also include those used to statistically analyze access or visits to the Site, also known as “analytics,” which pursue exclusively statistical purposes and collect information in aggregate form without the possibility of tracing the identity of the individual user. Analytics cookies may also be third-party cookies (Google Analytics) for which we refer, for further details, to the privacy policy of the respective owner.

Profiling Cookies

Profiling cookies are intended to improve the user experience of the Site by suggesting content related to the preferences expressed by the user while browsing, based on the content viewed and other behavioral parameters. The user can decide to disable the use of individual cookies on the Site through the appropriate options in their browser. In this case, some features of the Site may not be available.

Third-Party Cookies

The Site uses certain external functions or contains certain external links for the purpose of improving integration with commonly used third-party sites and the sociality of the Site itself (e.g. sharing buttons for Facebook, Google, etc.). These functions and links may result in the use of third-party cookies for which we refer to the specific privacy policy published on the individual sites.
